Stevens-Henager College Announces Community Forum

Nathan Walker with Adobe Systems to Keynote First Community Forum

Provo, Utah (June 17, 2013)  —

The Provo/Orem campus of Stevens-Henager College announced today that it will host a community forum featuring keynote speaker Nathan Walker, principal of advanced skills enablement with the Worldwide Field Enablement division at Adobe. Walker will share his career experience in employee training and curriculum development.

The event is open to the public and will be held Tuesday, June 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Provo/Orem campus located at 1476 Sandhill Road in Orem.

“At Stevens-Henager College we do our best to connect our students with individuals that can inspire them to pursue their careers,” said Kenneth Plant, executive director at the Provo/Orem campus. “Forums like this provide our students and neighbors with opportunities to network with local employers and introduce them to interesting topics.”

Walker develops employee training programs and curriculum for employees all over the world. He is the inventor of Social Enablement™ and Tribal Enablement™ and the creator of Power Presentation Skills.™ Prior to Adobe, Walker worked at Omniture, Inc., overseeing the creation and delivery of internal training courses and materials. He also trained teams from leading companies, including Apple, Wal-Mart, Sony, Disney and Nissan.

The forum is the first in a series of events scheduled for this summer and fall and are designed to provide students and residents opportunities to network and learn about varying topics, fields and careers in Utah Valley. Local companies will also be in attendance to provide those who attend with networking opportunities.
