Stevens-Henager College Offers Four Free Seminars at Provo-Orem Campus


Provo, Utah (February 18, 2014)  —

Stevens-Henager College will host two evenings of free seminars February 26 and 27 as part of the Good Neighbor Initiative. Each seminar is open to the public and will befrom 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Provo-Orem campus located at 1476 Sandhill Road in Orem. Seminars such as these will give community members a glimpse into the career-focused education students gain at Stevens-Henager College.

“Stevens-Henager College is offering free seminars as a way to invest in our community,” said Jorge Agüero, director of business development for Stevens-Henager College. “This is the first time we are doing community seminars in Orem and we plan to host another round of seminars again in April.”

There are two seminars to choose from each night. Here are the details:<>

Wednesday, February 26

    • Family First Aid

Presented by Dr. Rob Roberts, Dean of the School of Healthcare at Stevens-Henager College

    • Maximizing Tax Returns for Small Businesses

Presented by Jon A. Wilhelm, MBA, CPA at Paramount Tax & Accounting

Thursday, February 27

    • Computer Home Security

Presented by David Chenworth, Novell Senior Support Engineer

    • A Glimpse at Photoshop

Presented by Tim Miller, Senior Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Associate Dean of Graphic Arts at Stevens-Henager College
