Stevens-Henager College — Provo / Orem, UT Branch Campus
The Provo/Orem campus of Stevens-Henager College was established in June 1978. Since this time, the city has experienced tremendous growth and development in the computer technology field.
Provo consistently receives media attention from the business community both nationally and internationally. Previously named America's Most Livable City, Provo continues to appear on impressive lists for job growth, quality of job force, and other business accomplishments. The recognition of Provo as a quality place to do business continues to draw companies and employees.
Provo was ranked sixth in 2003 and 2004 in Forbes' "Best Places for Business and Careers" survey, which weighed job and income growth, cost of doing business, and work-force qualification of the 150 largest metropolitan areas. It also considered crime rates, the number of college graduates, advanced degree holders, and housing costs. Provo's outdoor and mountain recreation was noted as a major draw to Utah County.
Farmers Insurance recently named Provo the number-one most secure metropolitan place to live in America based on crime statistics, risk factors of natural disasters, and job loss numbers, in areas with 200,000 residents or more.
