Stevens - Henager Opens an Idaho Falls Campus

As you all know, Pocatello is home to Idaho State University, Rexburg is home to Brigham Young University – Idaho and now Idaho Falls is home to Stevens – Henager College.

Stevens – Henager originally offered many online courses to students in this area, but the college just opened a new campus in the Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls.

The new building has 8 classrooms, 4 of them are medical labs for the medical program.

18 instructors are available that specialize in different areas.

The new campus will provide programs in health care, computer science, business accounting and graphic arts.

"Well we saw that there was a need here, we had several students enrolled in online courses here and we wanted to bring a service to this community that we didn’t feel was here so I feel like we really fill a void in Idaho Falls for people that want to get their education and don't want to have to commute to Pocatello or Rexburg to go to school" said associate director Felicia Wright.

An open house will be held for community members tomorrow, Thursday May 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
