Stevens–Henager College’s Respiratory Therapy Associate’s Degree program offers a comprehensive curriculum, modern equipment, small class sizes, and individual attention from qualified instructors. The curriculum is a 20-month course of study combining classroom theory, laboratory experience, and clinical practice in respiratory patient care. As a graduate, you’ll have the skills for employment in hospitals and medical centers as respiratory care practitioners.

Respiratory Therapy Degree The program prepares you to meet the challenges of this dynamic field. As part of the curriculum, you’ll gain clinical experience with patients in a respiratory care facility. You’ll receive your clinical training at some of the best hospitals in the area, so you’ll master new skills under the supervision of some of the best respiratory practitioners and physicians in the country.

  • Pediatric/Perinatal Pathophysiology and Critical Care
  • Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Advanced Skills

Our Respiratory Therapy Degree Programs prepare students for possible certifications* in:
  • NBRC eligibility for RRT examination
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.

Stevens Henager College’s Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy program offered at the Boise Campus holds a Letter of Review from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) (www.coarc.com) and is working toward full accreditation. Students who complete a program under a Letter of Review are eligible to sit for the NBRC exams.
