Leaving your home and community for another country can be both exciting and challenging. We will help you with your transition in the USA while you discover new career opportunities and friends. We want to help you with this adventurous educational journey.
We are sure you have many questions and concerns that go beyond educational information, such as travel plans, student visas, housing, health insurance, and international student financial aid. Stevens-Henager College will provide you assistance to help answer your questions and needs.
Salt Lake City, host of the 2002 Winter Olympics, has an international community and robust, diverse economy that attracts quality businesses and people alike. Affordable housing, safety, job and recreational opportunities, and breathtaking scenery await you.
As home to the “Greatest Snow on Earth®,” world-class skiing is a short drive away. In summer, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and festivals are abundant. But what makes Salt Lake City truly unique is its friendly and hospitable people.
Feel confident in knowing that you’ll be attending a school with a proud history of success. Established in 1891, Stevens-Henager has been educating motivated students for over 125 years. During this time, our philosophy has always been to develop programs designed to meet changing job market trends, giving students real-world knowledge and skills that will prepare them to make a significant contribution on their very first day of employment. To ensure that our students are receiving a hands-on education that will help them be competitive when they graduate, our Murray (Salt Lake City), Utah campus has established many contacts with businesses and industry leaders in the Utah area. Because of those contacts, we are excited to offer a valuable Curricular Practical Training (CPT) work-study program to our international students. If you are enrolled in one of our master’s programs, you can experience an American education in a pleasant classroom environment.
Stevens-Henager’s (CPT) work-study program is an academic opportunity, not an employment opportunity. Our cooperative work-study program is designed to help master’s students apply their classroom knowledge to “hands-on” practical work experiences in the United States.
This school is authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.
Our International department will assist you in finding a cooperative employment partner as part of your CPT program following your first month of study. Also, classes are offered at flexible hours, including evenings to accommodate your work schedule. Our master’s degree program takes 15 months to complete. But, prerequisite courses may extend your completion time by 1 to 6 additional months.
To attend Stevens-Henager Colleges Master Degree Program, you will need:
