Trunk-or-Treat Thrills for Campus and Community

By Staff Writer Published on November 14, 2017

On October 26, 2017, the Murray (Salt Lake City) campus of Stevens-Henager College held its first annual trunk-or-treat event for the community. We want to thank the community for coming out and having fun with us.

Guests could choose from over 25 amazingly decorated trunks full of candy. Local businesses that decorated trunks and handed out candy included J.D. Byrider, Marissa’s Books, the local Chamber of Commerce, local LegalShield associates, and several others.

There were excitement and carnival games aplenty! The cake walk game had children and adults standing in line for the opportunity to win a free cake. Additional carnival games included a ring toss, tombstone toss, fishing pond, and donut on a string.

The campus provided free food and drinks for everyone. In addition, the Waffle Love food truck sold amazing waffle creations.

It was great to have radio stations U92 and 105.1 hang out with us and help promote the event. Each radio station raffled off an Xbox One X.

We had so much fun at our trunk or treat this year, and we look forward to doing it again next year. To see more pictures from the event, check our Facebook page.
