Stevens-Henager Celebrates First Graduation Ceremony for St. George Campus

Students Commemorate Education Victories With Families and Supporters
St. George, Utah (June 05, 2013)  — Stevens-Henager College, a leading provider of on-campus and online higher education, celebrated the achievements of 17 graduates from its St. George campus last week with commencement keynote speaker Darrell Ostler, Associate Dean of General Education at Stevens-Henager's Orem campus. Last week's graduation was the first for the St. George campus, which opened in August 2011. "We are very excited about having our first graduation and it is great to see the growth of the college," said Greg Stanfield, Dean of Education. Seventeen associate degrees were awarded at the graduation ceremony. Ostler was instrumental in establishing the St. George campus as a team member of the Stevens-Henager College Utah South region. He has been a college educator since 2004 and specializes in communication theory. Ostler has lived and worked in many parts of the world, but he considers Southern Utah his favorite place to recreate with his family.
