Employers in Healthcare, IT, Financial Planning, Accounting and Customer Management to Attend Career Fair
Ogden, Utah (September 17, 2012) —
The Ogden campus of Stevens-Henager College, a leading provider of on-campus and online higher education, will hold a career fair open to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in Ogden at 1890 South 1350 West.
“Helping our students land great jobs after graduation is a huge priority for us,” said Vicky Dewsnup, regional campus director. “This year’s career fair is an excellent opportunity for not only our students but members of the community to come and learn about opportunities that are available to them in a wide range of industries.”
Employers in areas such as healthcare, IT, financial planning, accounting and customer management will be in attendance. In addition to accepting resumes, many employers will also be conducting interviews onsite, providing attendees the opportunity to get a leg up on their job search. Those attending are encouraged to bring their professional resumes and dress interview-ready.
As part of the job fair, Stevens-Henager College will also host two how-to-get-a-job workshops as part of their Good Neighbor Initiative, a program that offers free education, training and workshops to help community members get better jobs. The how-to-get-a-job workshops will begin at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
